AS WARM COMPRESS: Keep the pack in a microwave for not more than 1 minute at a time on low setting. increase the time in small increments if heat is not adequate (do not overheat. remove if any bulging is noticed). or it can be dipped in hot water for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the desired heat is reached. wrap in cloth and apply to the desired area.

AS COLD COMPRESS: Keep the pack in the freezer for about one or two hours. wrap in a cloth and apply to the desired area.

COLD BENEFITS: Reduces swelling, inflammation, sprains, pains and fevers, eye strain and headache, toothache etc.

IN SPORTS: Can be used to treat all sports activity related injuries with cooling effect.

Also as an aid for keeping food warm or cool in an insulated container: Cool or heat as above and place in the insulated container. this reusable pack keeps things cool/hot. it stays frozen longer than traditional ice without themes of ice or maintain heat.
